Document Systems, Inc. (DSI) is a Connecticut corporation organized in 1986 to develop and market knowledge management solutions for IBM mainframe computing environments. DSI’s flagship product, DOCU/MASTER™, is universally recognized as the fastest and most efficient full-text search and retrieval engine for the zOS, VSE and VM operating systems. With over 150 installations in Fortune 1000 corporations, government agencies, property/casualty insurers, and not-for-profit organizations worldwide, DSI is committed to providing high quality, value-added software tools and applications systems to meet the ever changing information needs of government and business managers alike.

DSI has created DOCU/MASTER-based, application solutions for state governments and the property/casualty insurance industry under the DOCU/MASTER-JobMatch and Silverplume™ product names, respectively.

In 1999, DSI was divested by its former parent, AMS Services, Inc., in a management buy-out led by Ed Hollshwandner and is now run as a privately owned, independent software company.

DSI has partnered with HostBridge Technology and CASI Software to create and resell IBM mainframe XML integration and e-report delivery capabilities both for its DOCU/MASTER suite and as stand-alone resale products.

DSI has offices in Walnut Creek, California.
