JobMatch
JobMatch is a mainframe-based, contextual search and retrieval system designed to assist and improve the matching of job seekers with job opportunities by state employment security agencies (SESAs). JobMatch integrates the text-retrieval methodology used by DSI's DOCU/MASTER search engine with a state's existing Employment Security, One-Stop, and/or WIA system.  The resulting system enables workforce development professionals to take advantage of every piece of information stored in their database, including free-form text describing either an applicant's skills or a job's requirements.

JobMatch provides a unique solution to the changing needs of today's employment market.  Every word in the summary or notes section of a job description and each applicant's skill description or resume is indexed in the JobMatch database.  Workforce development professionals can therefore perform unrestricted searches to find applicants with the right experience and characteristics or job openings requiring specific skills using pre-defined, fill-in-the-blank search screens that can be customized to meet specific state requirements.

JobMatch is a value-added application solution for America’s Workforce Technology Solutions’ AWS/AWS-ES and ODDS/ENDS systems.  A simple "hotkey" facility enables the JobMatch system to be accessed directly from within AWS / AWS-ES, ODDS/ENDS, and even a custom-developed state system.

With JobMatch, all of the AWS / AWS-ES Applicant, Job Order, Provider, Employer and Applicant Services data is automatically indexed and searchable.  Job/Match enables users to “mine” every piece of data captured in the system.  JobMatch searches the entire database in seconds, and can be done as often as necessary to refine the search in order to find qualified applicants for a job opening, or job openings meeting desired criteria for an applicant.
